About Starr Michelle

Starr is a lifelong creator with a deep love for beauty in all its forms. After years spent working as an interior decorator and gardener, she found herself craving more — more connection, more expression, and a place to share the things she loves most. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for plants, art, and design, Starr dreamed of having her own shop for decades. Starr’s Collective is the realization of that dream — a space where she can bring people together, get her hands dirty, and create with purpose.
Her artistic style is earthy, organic, and ever-evolving. She’s especially known for her work with dried flowers, hypertufa pots, and wreaths, and she loves teaching others how to make their own. Whether she’s painting abstract pieces in her studio, hosting a workshop, or curating wild arrangements from the natural treasures of Northern California, Starr brings warmth, curiosity, and intention to everything she does.

About Claire Elise

Claire Elise is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and creative force behind the vision of Starr’s Collective. Born with a fiercely independent spirit and a deep desire to explore the edges of art, healing, and community, she brings heart and intention to every part of the collective — from curation and marketing to event planning and storytelling.
Claire’s background blends artistic experimentation with a passion for personal growth, nature, and connection. She believes art should be accessible, soul-stirring, and woven into the fabric of everyday life. Through the collective, she hopes to create a space where everyone — regardless of experience or background — feels welcome to express themselves, be witnessed, and belong.
When she’s not at the shop, you’ll find her making music, working on her podcast, planning workshops, or dreaming up new ways to turn creative expression into community medicine.
