About Starr Michelle

Starr is a lifelong creator with a deep love for beauty in all its forms. After years spent working as an interior decorator and gardener, she found herself craving more — more connection, more expression, and a place to share the things she loves most. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for plants, art, and design, Starr dreamed of having her own shop for decades. Starr’s Collective is the realization of that dream — a space where she can bring people together, get her hands dirty, and create with purpose.
Her artistic style is earthy, organic, and ever-evolving. She’s especially known for her work with dried flowers, hypertufa pots, and wreaths, and she loves teaching others how to make their own. Whether she’s painting abstract pieces in her studio, hosting a workshop, or curating wild arrangements from the natural treasures of Northern California, Starr brings warmth, curiosity, and intention to everything she does.

About Claire Elise

Claire Elise is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and co-creator of Starr’s Collective. She brings together her background in art, storytelling, and community-building to shape the vision, aesthetic, and soul of the Collective. From curation and marketing to event design and creative direction, Claire approaches every part of the space with intention and care.
Rooted in a lifelong love of creativity, introspection, and human connection, Claire believes that art should feel welcoming, meaningful, and accessible — something that belongs in everyday life, not just on gallery walls. Her work is inspired by nature, spirituality, personal growth, and the desire to create spaces where people can feel seen, inspired, and at home.
When she’s not at the shop, you’ll find her making music, writing, recording her podcast, or dreaming up new workshops and projects that deepen community and spark creativity.
